Bio.

After completing my Master’s in Rhetoric & Composition, I spent several years developing my voice in print and making a name for myself, writing for both local and national publications (e.g. newspapers, literary journals, magazines, etc.). Years later, I am still just as fascinated with the written word and the power language can convey.

In 2012, I ventured into the world of self-publishing, developing my own art magazine titled, {E-volved}. {E-volved} explores the world of tattoos and fine art. Available both digitally and in print, {E} promotes artists of all mediums and genres. It is currently distributed by three international distributors and is available in hundreds of retail locations around the world, including over 300 Barnes and Noble locations nationwide and Amazon.

Inspired by the vibrant art scene in surrounding cities, I was determined to bring that same energy back to my hometown. Since 2009 I have curated over 75 unique, avant garde themed art shows in and around the Ventura County area, including a three-day tattoo convention – the Seaside Tattoo Show, I also created the VC Art Market, Ventura’s first outdoor art gallery. Every second Saturday of the month, local artists and crafters of display their original work on Main Street in Downtown Ventura. My most recent adventure is the Seaside Oddities Expo - for all things weird and bizarre.
